If you’ve made it to this page, it’s because you probably asked me on Instagram what filters I use to modify my photos.

I am asked this question so frequently, which is great because it means I’m doing something right, it’s easier for me to just explain it here.

So the reality is… there is no one filter, there is no one app, it is not a point-and-click process. I could use anywhere from a minimum of 3 to a possible of 5 different apps and multiple stacked filters including the adjustments of histograms.

So you see, it’s not just a simple as downloading an app and getting the same effect. I’m embarrassed to admit I can spend anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes getting the look that I want just right.
